Artist Statement
Forgery has always appealed to me as a form of expression.
The idea that a copy cause as much excitement in any given industry as the original. I choose to duplicate works which are in the public domain which avoids copyright infringement lawsuits. Studying the masterworks of art history also bring a level of personal interest. That is of the study of "painting." By copying the old master, I learn what it takes to make a good painting in the classical sense. My works are also a commentary on the mass market appeal of reproductions, and the price people are willing to pay for an original work of art.

New works.
